Diploma of Merit Award

Susan Granger, Head of Enfield Arts Service, was presented with the Diploma of Merit Award by Dame Cleo Lane at the National Music Council Awards on Tuesday, 16th November 2004.

Enfield Arts Support Service received the National Music Councils Diploma of Merit, a very prestigious award, showing that it provides a wide range of quality music experiences and in particular for

its impressive wide range of after school activities
the 2 year Youth Music funded strategic action project involving 2 Primary, 1 Secondary and Special School with the aim of tracking the musical development of a group of 25 year 6 pupils in each of the primary schools and a class of year 6 from the special school into year 7.
opportunities to experience a wide range of world musics with wholly positive feedback from pupils and staff
successful collaboration with local and national music and arts organisations and our thriving Gospel choir
