Good News for Music Education The National Plan for Music Education (NPME) "The Importance of Music" was launched on 25th November by the Government. Alongside the plan, protected funding for music was announced for 3 years (2012-15). This funding will be awarded to lead organisations of music education hubs by the Arts Council England, following a bidding process. EASS will be submitting a bid as the lead organisation for Enfield's newly formed Music Hub. If you are interested you can download the NPME here |

The Enfield Arts Support Service is
committed to providing an effective, efficient service of wide ranging, high
quality opportunities aimed at supporting, enhancing and developing music and
arts through education within the community. The service is provided by
specialist tutors and is available to pupils who attend school and/or live in
the London Borough of Enfield. In addition here is also an adult gospel choir
which is open to all adults who live in the London Borough of Enfield or
who have children who attend an Enfield School.
Enfield Arts Support Service is part of Enfield Council's Schools and Childrens Services department
